Avon Riding Centre has its very own Wonder Woman! Karen Sheppard is a volunteer instructor at the Centre and was responsible for organising the 100 Acre Ball last weekend. Not only was it a fabulous evening, it raised approximately £7,500 for the Land appeal. Having offered to organise the event, Karen worked tirelessly for which I am enormously grateful. Thanks must also go to Gary, her husband for his excellent MC duties and to her other family members who helped in a number of ways.
Our thanks also go to Alex and his staff at the BAWA club who provided some a great venue and service on the night. We would not have made so much money without you, so thank you very much for all you did (and do) for us. In addition we had live music by Loosely Shuffled and dancing to BS3 Disco to round off great entertainment, thank you all so much for donating your expertise.
