Non Disabled Riding
Bristol Horse Riding is the non-disabled arm of the Avon Riding Centre. Have fun, learn new skills, make a difference.
Based in Henbury, just opposite Blaise Castle, offering a number of activities, from hacking to show jumping and dressage clinics.
By choosing to ride with us you are supporting the vital work we do. Our riding lessons for people without disabilities are run through our sister company, Bristol Horse Riding. All profits from these activities go to support the work of Avon Riding Centre for the Disabled.
Our non-disabled riding lessons run Tuesday to Friday evenings 5pm-8pm, and Saturday afternoons from 1:30pm.
Our lessons consist of a mixture of flatwork, jumping and cross country, and accommodate all levels of riding. Your first lesson is always an assessment, where the instructor will assess your abilities and discuss the best way for you to proceed and what it is you are hoping to get out of riding with us. You will then be offered the most appropriate group for your level and goals.
We believe that you receive the greatest benefit from your riding by riding regularly. Therefore, we do not offer ad hoc riding. Our riding sign up for weekly riding at a cost of £130 per month. Missed lessons can be replaced with a hack or holiday activity. For more information please see our Terms of Riding.
If you would like to ride with us, please complete a Rider Registration Form Updated TCs – August 2019 and we will be in touch.
