Our next dressage competition has been organised for riders from Avon Riding Centre and any other RDA Groups within our Mid West Region that would like to participate.

There will be a total of five Classes to suit riders with a wide range of experience and ability featuring most of the new tests that are being used at the RDA Regional Qualifiers

to be held at West Wilts EC on Wednesday 20th May as well as at the

RDA National Championships at Hartpury College on the 10th, 11th, &12th July:

Class 1 Intro to Dressage Championship Test (2020) – walk only (with leader)

Class 2 Grade 1 Championship Test (2020) – walk only (ridden independently)

Class 3 TVI/PVI Championship Test (2020) – walk & trot ridden independently

Class 4 ID Championship Test (2020) – walk & trot ridden independently

Class 5 ID Championship Test (2020) – walk, trot & canter

Where possible riders should wear a jacket, shirt & tie and light coloured jodhpurs, however if this is not possible they are welcome to wear their normal riding clothes and Group sweatshirts. Leaders should wear riding hats and gloves in line with the RDA policy at Regional & National competitions.

Early entry is strongly recommended as spaces are limited due to time constraints. Also for this reason riders will be expected to be ready and prepared to start their test on time.

We will be taking into account the number of entries for each Class in deciding whether to run all the Classes and the order may change according to the distances being travelled by competitors from other RDA Groups.

PLEASE TALK TO YOUR COACH BEFORE ENTERING TO MAKE SURE YOU ENTER THE MOST APPROPRIATE CLASS

Entries can only be made from 10am on Thursday 12th March and the entry fee will be £10 per Class plus £7 horse hire fee. No entries will be accepted before this date or without payment at the time of booking.

Please include the rider’s full name and that of their horse or pony when entering.

It is possible to pay by credit card over the phone by contacting the Centre on 0117 9590266.

Refreshments will be available on the day.
